Ginger Cookies



* 3/4 cup butter
* 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
* 3/4 cup molasses
* 1 egg

Combine these ingredients until completely blended to a smooth consistency. Then add:

* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon cloves
* 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
* 1 Tablespoon ginger
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 3 cups flour

A soft dough should form. Roll it into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for two hours before working with it. And.... instead rolling it with flour, use powdered sugar. 
Bake them for  8-10 minutes on 350. 
This recipe is great for those who crave spice!
